Biography

Full Professor and the Head of the Applied Intelligence & Data Analysis group, he has published more than 250 journals, books, and conference papers. His extensive work has been published in high-impact journals, including Advances in Space Research, Expert Systems with Applications, Future Generation Computer Systems, and Information Fusion. His research interests include Data Mining, Evolutionary Computation, Multi-Agent Systems and Swarm Intelligence and Machine Learning. He has organized and chaired numerous international events, including the ACM Symposium on Applied Computing’s Data Streams Track, and workshops at major conferences like Genetic and Evolutionary Computation Conference (GECCO) and Conference of the Spanish Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAEPIA).
