Biography

Marzia Canzaniello is a PhD candidate at the M.O.D.A.L. group, specializing in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Statistical Learning, with a focus on urban resource efficiency. Her research, combining mathematical modeling and AI, has led to peer-reviewed publications on topics like Generative AI, Federated Learning, and Graph Neural Networks, featured in journals such as Information Fusion and presented at conferences like 32nd Euromicro International Conference on Parallel, Distributed and Network-Based Processing (PDP), IEEE, 2024 and 4th CINI National Conference on Artificial Intelligence. She was selected for prestigious opportunities at institutions such as the Basque Center for Applied Mathematics (BCAM) and the Oxford Machine Learning Summer School (OxML), which involved rigorous selection processes. She is committed to advancing AI and Deep Learning, with a focus on Smart City solutions and urban mobility improvements.
